Barbara Anderson Culler

Mrs. Barbara Jean Anderson Culler, age 75, of Elkin, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Villages of Wilkes in North Wilkesboro, NC.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Hal Greene officiating and at 2:00 pm at Union Baptist Church in Millers Creek with Rev. Steve Faw officiating.  The family will receive friends after each service.

Mrs. Culler was born on January 28, 1944 in Surry County to Leonard Greenwood and Eva Joines Anderson.  Before retiring, Mrs. Culler was a long time employee of Winn-Dixie in Elkin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Culler and a grandson, Christopher Culler.

She is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, David Culler and Monica Shepherd of North Wilkesboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Keith Hart of Millers Creek; three sisters Wanda Benge (Jimmy), Freida Martin, and Janet Brown; one brother, Gregg Anderson (Wendy); seven grandchildren; Casey Souther (Jonathan), Leslie Harris, Sydney Culler, Seth Culler, three younger grandchildren; and, one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 420 Colvard Road, Millers Creek, NC  28651.
