Wilma Burcham Hinson

Mrs. Wilma Burcham Hinson, age 92, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born June 29, 1926 in Wilkes County to Harrison and Lavonia Couch Burcham.  Mrs. Hinson was a dedicated Christian and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boyce Hinson; sons, Bobby Hinson and Gilbert Hinson. Mrs. Hinson was the last of several siblings.

Survivors include: daughter, Sandra H. Anderson of Jonesville; grandchildren, Missy Shore and her husband David, Stephanie Anderson, Josh Anderson, Angie Howard and her husband Brandon, Derek Hinson and Jason Bowlin; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds, Dr. Gary Byrd and Rev. Rick Cockerham officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
