Judy Faye Wagoner

Mrs. Judy Faye Wagoner, age 57, of Elkin passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born January 1, 1961 in Davidson County to Jesse and Bessie Anderson Weatherman.

Mrs. Wagoner was an avid hunter, a hard worker, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mickey Weatherman and Sammy Weatherman.

Survivors include: her husband, Larry Wagoner of the home; sons, Keith Hodges and wife Sashua of Elkin, Kevin Hodges and wife Joy of Elkin; stepsons, Chad Wagoner and wife Kayla of Mountain View, Sammy Wagoner and wife Tina of Southport; brother, David Weatherman; sister, Debbie Nichols; grandchildren, Katie Hodges Jesse Hodges, Eric Hodges, Abigail Hodges, A.J. Waddell, Charlie Yarboro, Bowen Wagoner, Isabel Wagoner, Samantha Matthews; great grandson, Abel Matthews.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Garrett Miller and Rev. Jimmy Welborn officiating. Burial will follow in Shoaly Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Elkin Funeral Service.
