Peggy Triplett Stanley

Mrs. Peggy Triplett Stanley, age 89, of Elkin passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Kentucky May 5, 1929 to Trenton and Hyacinth Barney Triplett.

Mrs. Stanley was a homemaker and member of Union Cross Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stanley; sister, Jean Groce; brother, Jimmy Triplett, sister-in-law, Alma Southard; brother-in-law R.W. Flinchum; and her pet Chihuahua, Buddy.

Survivors include: son, Keith Stanley and wife Sherry of Elkin; brothers, Donnie Triplett and wife Gail, Larry Triplett and wife Ruby; sisters, Laura Gilliam, Betty Martin and husband Donnie; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Flinchum; granddaughter, Jessica Frazier and husband Cory; great grandchildren, Logan Frazier and Tyler Frazier.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church, Care of Christy Smith, 5451 NC Hwy 268, Dobson, NC 27017.
