Cathy L Pendergrass

Ms. Cathy L. Pendergrass, age 69, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at her residence. Ms. Pendergrass was born March 18, 1949 in Wilkes County to Hubert and Virginia Mathis Pendergrass.

Ms. Johnson was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  She graduated from East Wilkes High School and Surry Community College.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Pendergrass was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille P. Richardson and Janice P. Turner; and brother, John Pendergrass.

Survivors include: sisters, Judy P. Rhanor and husband Jim and Carolyn P. Godfrey; sister-in-law, Vickie Pendergrass; nieces and nephews, Felicia Bennett and husband Jason, Leesa Daniel and husband Gerald and their children James and Paul, Diane Watt and husband Tommy and their children Savannah and Samantha, Lavone Richardson, and Jaclyn Pendergrass and son Ashyr; nephew, Chris Richardson and children hunter and Jake; great-nieces, Amanda Borgilt and husband Mike, Candice McClellon and wife April and their children Corbin, Caiden and Lydiah, and Jana Bennett and children Gavin, Wesley and Jaxon; and 4 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 10, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
