Jo Alice Pleasant

Jo Alice Pleasant, age 73, of Elkin passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born July 6, 1945 in Surry County to Everette and Juanita Ruth Blackburn Vestal.

Mrs. Pleasant was a member of Mountain Park United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Pleasant.

Mrs. Pleasant is survived by her sister, Janet Vestal of Elkin and several extended family members.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service with Rev. Russ Nixon officiating. An informal visitation will follow at the funeral home.
