Alanna Blevins Hedrick

Mrs. Alanna Blevins Hedrick, age 51, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Curis at Wilkesboro.  Mrs. Hedrick was born July 27, 1966 in Surry County to Troy Otis and Pauline Simmons Blevins.

Mrs. Hedrick was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church and employed by Phillips Van Heusen.

Mrs. Hedrick was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: husband, Randy Hedrick of the home; son, Nathan Hedrick (Jessica Eck) of Elkin; daughters, Amber Hedrick (Michael Anderson) of Elkin and Briana Hedrick of Elkin; brother, Steven Blevins (Amy Marion) of Pinnacle; sister, Alfreda Weimer (Richard) of Germany; and grandchildren, Alessa Hedrick and Grayson Bumgarner.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Kennedy officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Elkin Funeral Service.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home and Curis at Wilkesboro for the care given to Mrs. Hedrick.
