Eric Seth Lyons

Mr. Eric Seth Lyons, age 46, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born February 20, 1972 in Alleghany County to Billy Charles Lyons and Elizabeth Jane Masten Lyons.  Eric was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and an avid racing fan. He was a loving father and was known as having a tender heart and outgoing personality.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Minnie and Hugh Lyons and Susie and Robert Masten.

Survivors include: his son, Alexander Seth Lyons and his mother, Jayme Shatley of State Road; father, Billy Charles Lyons and his wife Susan of Jonesville; brothers, Rocky Lyons and his wife Scarlet of Elkin and Robby Lyons and his wife Teresa of Jonesville; sisters, Sandra Blevins and her husband Tim of Elkin and Susan Nance and her husband Roger of Jonesville and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Danny Dodds and Rev. Joe Wood officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
