Faye Duenkel

Mrs. Faye Marion Duenkel, age 90, of Elkin passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County on April 8, 1928 to Daniel and Dellie Johnson Marion.

Mrs. Duenkel was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Dobson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Duenkel Sr. and son, William L. Duenkel Jr.

Mrs. Duenkel is survived by her daughter, Pamela F. Voyntich and husband Alexander III of Jefferson; grandchildren, Rebekka Dugger, Alex Voynitch IV, Danny L. Capenter; great grandchildren Olivia and Amelia Dugger, special neice Mary Ann Stanley of Elkin; and several other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunrise Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Anderson officiating.
