Thomas Eugene Dameron

Mr. Thomas Eugene Dameron, age 58, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville.  He was born September 17, 1959 in Surry County to James and Betty Evans Dameron.  Mr. Dameron was employed with Wal-Mart in the Maintenance Department and attended Marler Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Sammie Dameron of the home; son, Thomas Aron Dameron of Hendersonville; daughter, Amanda Nicole Belton and her husband Lee of Boonville; mother-in-law, Lois Cearley of Jonesville; sister, Jana Hall of Ronda; brother-in-law, Jackie Ray Cearley; grandchildren, Chloe Belton and Kaylee Belton; special niece, Misty Hall; special friends, Kenny, Joyce, Kevin and Junior; several nieces and nephews and 3 special babies, Koko, Princess and Prince.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 21, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Don Hudson officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and the owners and staff of the Wood Box Restaurant in Jonesville foe their care.
