Susan Grace Taylor

Susan Grace Taylor, age 74, of Elkin passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 15, 1943 in Forsyth County to Dr. V.W. and Vida “Babbs” Babb Taylor.

Susan was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkin and a former choir member and a former member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Taylor and his wife Betty of Dobson; sister Bobbi Taylor of Dobson; nephews, Paul Gaither and his wife Sara, Cory Taylor and his wife Kelsey; niece, Kelsey Taylor; great nephew, Nolan Taylor; great niece, Charlotte Gaither; and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Bill Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00- 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
