Faye Dean Pardue

Faye Dean Pardue, 63, of Ronda passed away at her home on Friday, May 11 , 2018.  Faye was born in Elkin on March 29 , 1955 to Dean Hill and Lura Shepherd Pardue.  Faye was a 1973 graduate of Elkin High School and attended Surry Community College and Forsyth Technical Institute.  She worked at Revco Drugstore for many years and then at Winston Salem Healthcare and Novant.

Faye is survived by her four legged friend, Leo.
Sibling sur vivors are three sisters: Anne Smith and husband Mike of Franklinton, NC; Becky Dursee of Elkin; Jane Combs and Randy of Ronda; and one brother, Jimmy Pardue and wife Jo of Cary, NC.
Special nieces: Jennifer Smith and husband Sami Khan, Falls Church, VA; Debbie Nobles and husband Oscar Louisburg; LCDR Lida Cooper and husband LCDR Chad, Newport, RI; and Lura Pardue, San Jose, CA.
Special nephews: Richard Smith and wife Kim, Youngsville; John Combs and wife Margaret, Elkin; David Pardue and fiancé Brooke Cole, St. Joseph, MI; and Duran Pardue, Chattanooga, TN.
Great nieces: Ariana Khan, Richmond, VA; Emily and Natalie Khan, Falls Church, VA; and Isabel, Sophia and Victoria Nobles, Louisburg, NC; Dare Cooper, Newport, RI; and Victoria Lewis, Elkin.
Great nephews: Adam Khan, Richmond, VA; and Pierce Combs, Elkin, and one "GREAT Baby" Cooper due in August.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law Charlie Dursee; great nephew Naeem Khan; and Zeb the Wonder Dog.
Services will be held at Elkin Funeral Service on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Visitation with family from 1:00 and memorial service will be at 2:00. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Clingman.
