Finley William Nichols

Mr. Finley William Nichols, age 75, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Nichols was born October 29, 1942 in Wilkes County to Stewart and Eunice Parsons Nichols.

Mr. Nichols retired from Weyerhaeuser in Elkin after many years of employment.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Nichols and sister, Rita V. Eller.

Survivors include: his wife, Cora Ann Nichols of the home; daughter, Patricia Ann Coins and husband Ricky; brothers, F. H. Nichols and wife Peggy of Lenior and Neal Nichols and wife Brenda of East Bend; sisters, Ann Roseman of Albany, GA, Marthine Radford of Lula, GA and Tanis Propst of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Shanna Bowman and Shawn Bowman; grandson, Nathan Taylor, and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Race Shop of Flossie Johnson, 796 Somers Road, Ronda, NC 28670 with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
