Claude Manley Martin

Mr. Claude Manley Martin, age 45, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Martin was born August 14, 1972 in Surry County to Raymond C. and Georgia Lou Simmons Martin.

Claude was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and was employed by Martin Drywall.

Survivors include: His parents, Raymond and Georgia Lou Martin; son, Brett Alexander Mahan of Jonesville; brothers, Larry Martin, Gary Martin and wife Brenda, Mickey Martin and wife Kay, Charles Martin and wife Louise; and sister, Lynn Martin Clonch and husband Keith. His Best Friend, Greg Williams.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jackie Caudill and Rev. Ritchie Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
