Jossie Ann Hall

Mrs. Jossie Ann Dowell Hall, age 76, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Hall was born September 5, 1941 in Alleghany County to Velter and Vinnie Jones Dowell.

Mrs. Hall was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Robbie Hall and wife Robin of Yadkinville, Troy L. Hall and wife Susan of Elkin, Eric Hall and wife Anita of Thurmond, Rev. Mark Hall and wife Cindy of Wilkesboro and Ryan Hall and wife Annette of Traphill; brothers, Rev. Hobert Dowell, Ivan Dowell and wife Alice, Eugene Dowell and wife Evelyn and Roger Dowell and wife Dorothy; sister, Dora Mae Kilby; grandchildren, David Hall and wife Amanda, Ashley Messick and husband Jacob, Edward Hamby, Tiffany Gregory, Maleah Hart, Alissa Babcock and husband Chris, Rev. Tyler Hall, Mara Walker and husband Preston, Maci Hall and fiancé’ Jake Goulds, Stephanie Knight and husband Rev. Joseph and Keri Behrens and husband Rev. Troy; and great grandchildren, Lucas Hall, Breanna Hall, Hunter Messick, Paisley Messick, Jake Messick, Jr., Gracie Ward, Wesley Baldwin, Aubree Shumate, Jaxxon Shumate, Devon Babcock, Ethan Babcock, Averie Knight and Addison Knight.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. James Hall and Rev. Tyler Hall officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church.
