Kelly Blevins

Mr. Kelly Blevins, age 83, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Joan and Woltz Howard Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Blevins was born July 24, 1934 in Wilkes County to Sanford Windfield and Cora Cleary Blevins.

Mr. Blevins attended Traphill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Blevins was preceded in death by his brothers, Banner, Cecil and Henry; sisters, Merle, Dorothy, Alice and Shirley and daughter, Grace Kelly Blevins.

Survivors include: his wife, Alma Jean Blevins of the home; son, Chester Blevins of Traphill; daughters, Joyce Bauguess and husband Tony of Elkin and Lois Blevins of Traphill; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Traphill Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Trott and Rev. Mike Caldwell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
