Josephine Darnell

Mrs. Josephine Darnell, age 85, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.  Mrs. Darnell was born July 17, 1932 in Yadkin County to Marcus and Carrie Durham Clubb.

Mrs. Darnell was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Darnell was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Darnell and her three brothers, Junior Clubb, Jim Clubb and Jack Clubb.

Survivors include: her son, Ricky Darnell and wife Phyllis of State Road; daughter, Lynn Draughn of State Road and grandchildren, Julie Arnold and husband Danny and Adam Crouse and wife Katie.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. John Attaway officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
