James "Bud" Holleman

June 2, 1949 — March 1, 2018

Mr. James Edward “Bud” Holleman, age 68, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018.  Mr. Holleman was born June 2, 1949 in Iredell County to William Edward and Lena Gregory Holleman.

Mr. Holleman was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: his wife, Sherry Hemric Holleman of the home; son, Neil Holleman and wife April of Union Grove; daughter, Mandy Mullis and husband Dale of Union Grove; brothers, Charles William Holleman and wife Lou, Donald Wayne Holleman and wife Vickie and Michael Dean Holleman and wife Debora; sister, Judy Holleman Garris and husband Tony; grandchildren, Lakyn Holleman, Gracie Holleman, Mia Holleman, Josh Mullis and Brody Mullis and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Souther officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
