Mary Wilmoth

Mrs. Mary “Candy” Candace Wilmoth, age 62, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018.  Mrs. Wilmoth was born September 15, 1955 in Yadkin County to Ben and Jean Triplett Groce.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilmoth was preceded in death by her son, Keith Wilmoth and brother, Alan Groce.

Survivors include: her husband, Alvin Wilmoth of the home; brother, Joey Groce of Jonesville; grandchildren, Alan Eugene Wilmoth, Merriam Joey Wilmoth and Benjamin Joseph Wilmoth; mother-in-law, Betty Wilmoth and daughter-in-law, Karla Wilmoth.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Brian Cardwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
