Inez Ethel Smith

Mrs. Ethel Shores Smith, age 84 passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Smith was born January 16, 1934 in Surry County to Arthur C. and Virgie Rozella Perry Shores.

In addition to her parents Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C.B. Smith; sons, Bobby C. Smith and Gary Dennis Smith; and daughter, Tanya Lou Smith.

Survivors include: son, Randy Smith of State Road; daughter, Vicki Smith of Boomer; brothers, Jackie Shores and wife Patricia and A.C. Shores; sisters, Wanda Jolly and husband Clay and Virgie Teague and husband Ray; grandchildren, Tanya Dawn Smith, Gary Harrison Smith and wife Amanda, Michael Smith and Ashley Judy and husband Randy ; great grandchildren, Chance Luffman, Austin Luffman, Melenia Smith, Emma Smith, Autumn Fox, Jade Smith, Ayla Judy and Caydenn Judy; and sisters-in-law, Irene Colvard and Evonne Jolly.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Full Gospel Church with Rev. Bobby Norman officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
