Zelle Williams Roberts

Mrs. Zelle Williams Roberts, age 92, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville.  Mrs. Roberts was born November 24, 1925 in Wilkes County to Claude and Marty Shew Williams.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Grafton B. Roberts; a son, Grafton Michael Roberts; two brothers, Albert Williams and Marvin Williams; and two grandchildren, Dion Campbell and Connie Sue Foster.

Survivors include: daughters, Muriel Elizabeth Roberts of Chesnee, SC and Mary Jane Campbell and husband Alfred of Duncan, SC; daughter-in-law, Debbie Roberts of Key West, FL; sisters, Jettie Love of Wilkesboro and Cynda Wiles of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Chris Trivette, Blaine Trivette, Cathy Trivette, Adrian Campbell, Casey Roberts and Shana Roberts Klingler; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Scruggs, Justin Scruggs, Callie Scruggs, Emily Justis, Andrea Michelle Campbell, Daisy Trivette, Grafton Blaine Trivette and Julia Christina Trivette.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Pardue, Rev. Russ Nixon and Marty Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church.

The family requests no flowers, but for memorials to be made to the cemetery fund at Union Baptist Church, 760 Union Baptist Church Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
