Brian Henderson Benton

Matthew 21:22, “And all things, whatever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”.

Mr. Brian Henderson Benton, age 46, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017.  Brian was born September 17, 1971 in Surry County to Willie Benton and Vivian Hemric Combs.

Brain was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buford and Mozelle Benton, his maternal grandparents, Ivan Henderson Hemric and Bernice Hemric Benton, his step father, Alan G. Combs, his aunts, Becky Newman and Edith Swaim and a uncle, Ivan Henderson Hemric, Jr.

Survivors include; his mother, Vivian Combs of Jonesville, his father, Willie Benton of Jonesville, a brother, Jim Benton and wife Michelle of Boonville, his step brothers, Geran Combs and wife Cindy of Leesburg, VA, Gavin Combs of Mooresville, two nieces, Lesley Benton, Courtney Shover and husband Wesley, three nephews, Adien Benton, Urijah Benton, West Holbrook, his life-long best friend, Lora Layne Evans.  Brian came from a large extended family that loved him beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Fall Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hudson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service.
