Jody Dean Brown

Mr. Jody Dean Brown, age 48, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017.  Jody was born June 25, 1969 in Yadkin County to William Dean and Wanda Cook Brown.

Jody was the director of vendor solutions for Lowes Companies and was a member of Elkin Valley Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of Deacons, Founder and leader of the security team.  Jody also served as Sunday school Superintendent for many years and coached youth basketball and soccer.

Survivors include; his wife, Tammy Wagoner Brown of the home, a daughter, Kaylee Brown Billings and husband Tyler of Winston Salem, a son, Kendall Brown of the home, his father and mother, Dean and Wanda Brown, of Yadkinville, a sister, Amy Brown Small and husband Curtis of Yadkinville, his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Carolene Wagoner of Elkin, a brother-in-law, Perry Wagoner of Mt. Airy, nieces and nephews, Brooke Mosteller and husband Carl, Drake Phillips, Emma, Anna and Perry Jr. Wagoner, a sister-in-law, Lynn Wagoner of Mt. Airy.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Elkin Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Blevins and Drake Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service.
