Alice Coe

Mrs. Alice Rebecca Blackstock Coe, age 78, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Coe was born April 10, 1939 in Caldwell County to Clifford Blackstock and Toye Baker Blackstock.

Mrs. Coe was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkin, a member of the Red Hat Society and was a volunteer with Mountain Valley Hospice and the Jonesville Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coe was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Thomas Coe and brother, Don Blackstock.

Survivors include: two sons, Randal Thomas Coe of Elkin and Keith LaGrand Coe and wife Susan of Marietta, GA.; and four grandchildren, Annette Elizabeth Coe, Yvonne Cordilia Coe; Roman Thomas Coe and Kevin Thomas Coe.

A celebration of life will be conducted Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Elkin Chapel with Rev. Justin Bell officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
