Betty Holsclaw

Mrs. Betty Jean Holsclaw, age 76, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017.  Mrs. Holsclaw was born December 11, 1940 in Jonesville, NC to Willie and Jette Spainhour Tucker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holsclaw was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Taylor and Verlie Mae Sizemore; and brother, Lee Tucker.

Survivors include: her husband, William Holsclaw, of the home; two sons, Kenneth John Ewer, of Pennsylvania; and Michael Ewer and fiancé Cindy Nixon, of Traphill; two daughters, Mary Marie Trejo, of Asheville; and Helen Marie Ewer of Traphill; three step-sons, Mark Holsclaw and wife Lori, of Elkin, Ronnie Holsclaw, of Austin, Jerry Holsclaw, of Elkin; step-daughter, Becky Hawkins and husband John of Elkin; two sisters, Margaret Hodge of Thomasville and Lillie Lois Benge of Jonesville; 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at 111 W. Highland Ave., Elkin N.C.  28621, with Rev. Brian Wiles officiating.

The family had private visitation on saturday at 10:00 a.m.
