Estallene Pruitt Draughn

Mrs. Estallene Pruitt Jolly Draughn, age 90, entered the immediate presence of her Lord on Monday, July 17, 2017.  Mrs. Draughn was born April 11, 1927 in Hartford County, Maryland to Manly and Trustie Crabbe Pruitt.

Estallene was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to anyone she met.  She was the matriarch of the Pruitt, Jolly, and Crabbe families and all members of those families loved her dearly.  Estallene was a member of Benham Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Draughn was preceded in death by her husbands, Banner Jolly and Wilson Draughn; and son, Stephen Jolly.

Survivors include: son, Scott Jolly and wife Sandy of N. Wilkesboro; daughters, Shirley Atkinson of Clemmons; and Robin Winfrey and husband Lawrence of Boonville; brothers, RV Pruitt and wife Louise of Danville, VA; and Bill Pruitt and wife Marilyn of High Point; sister, Charlotte Stanley and husband Mike of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Penelope Atkinson; Joseph Winfrey; Mason Winfrey; Victoria Jolly; Madison Jolly; and Jackson Jolly; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Stevenson and Kassidy Stevenson.

A funeral service for Mrs. Draughn will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Keith Lyons officiating.  Burial will follow at Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one our prior to the service at the funeral home.  Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Winfrey, Mason Winfrey, Ty Pruitt, Rick Pruitte, Gerald Pruitt, and Mott Pruitt.
