Frank Gentry

Mr. Frank James Gentry, age 76, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. He was born November 24, 1940 in Surry County to Herman and Bertie Rose Gentry.

Mr. Gentry was retired from R.J. Reynolds Company, and a member of Grassy Creek United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother Mack Allen Gentry, and his beloved dog Bruzer.

Survivors include: his wife, Jane Nixon Gentry of the home; daughter, Jennifer “Ginger” James and husband Jonathan of Mt. Holly; two grandchildren, Austin Stinson and fiancé Megan Spink, and Landon James; and many special cousins.

A memorial service will be held, Monday June 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at Grassy Creek United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev John Taylor, and Sue Vestal.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Grassy Creek United Methodist Church, 145 Klondike rd. State Road, N.C. 28676.
