Cynthia Annette Mitchell

Mrs. Cynthia Annette Mitchell, age 45, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Wake Forrest Baptist Medical Center.  Mrs. Mitchell was born March 8, 1972 in Wilkes County to Edward and Paulette Whittington Burleson, Jr.

Cynthia was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, NC.

Survivors include: her parents, Ed and Paulette Burleson, Jr. of the home; son, William Aaron Greer; daughter, Ashley A. Farmer; brothers, Rickey H. Griffin of Millers Creek, Matthew Griffin of North Wilkesboro; sisters, Melissa Chivers of Elkin, and Shirley Burleson of Elkin; grandchildren, Marcus Farmer and Kayley Farmer.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Kenny Stoker officiating.
