Haston Dula Luffman

Mr. Haston Dula Luffman, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Luffman was born on February 13, 1931 in Surry County to Grady and Maude Dula Luffman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vassie Carter Luffman; sisters, Helen Carter and Opal Southard and brother Clyde Luffman.

Survivors include: three sons, Tony Luffman and wife Debbie of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Joey Luffman and wife Joyce of State Road, and Randy Luffman of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Arvil Luffman and wife Sue of State Road, Bill Luffman and wife Nell of State Road, Fred Luffman and wife Judy of State Road, Dwayne Luffman and wife Linda of Roaring River; one sister, Jean Pardue and husband Kenneth of Millers Creek; grandchildren, Chris Luffman and wife Tiffany of Wilkesboro, Kristen Norman and husband Mark of Elkin, Christy Luffman of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Kim Caccavale and husband Steven of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Joshua Luffman and wife Megan of Greere, SC, Melissa Stanley and husband John of Roaring River, Regina Davis and husband Brandon of Elkin, and Kara Lyles and husband Brent of West Palm Beach Florida; great-grandchildren, Preston Norman, Amelia Norman, Christopher Davis, Bella Davis, Emmett Davis, Madison Davis, Seth Evans, Elijah Tilman, Eli Luffman, Levi Luffman, Caleb Luffman, Maya Caccavale, and Zayda Caccavale.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mitch Smith and Rev. David Key officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
