Rebecca Virginia Wagoner

Mrs. Rebecca Virginia Wagoner, age 66, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. Mrs. Wagoner was born August 31, 1950 in Surry County to Willie and Ruby Alma Lyons Vanhoy.

Mrs. Wagoner was a member of State Road Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for Bayada Home Health.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagoner was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Lee Vanhoy.

Survivors include: two sons, Chad Lee Wagoner and wife Kayla of N. Wilkesboro; Samuel James Wagoner and wife Tina of Southport; two brothers, Willie Vanhoy, Jr. and wife Jeri of Long Island, NY and Freddie Vanhoy and wife Carol of State Road; eight nephews, Bruce Vanhoy, Bill Vanhoy, Jason Vanhoy, John Vanhoy, Jamie Vanhoy, Joey Vanhoy, Art Haynes and Jody Haynes; two grandchildren, Bowen Wagoner and Zoe Vestal.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at State Road Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gary Tatum officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
