Paul E. Caudle

Mr. Paul Elijah Caudle, age 88, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Caudle was born October 19, 1928 in Wilkes County to Tyra and Sarah Luffman Caudle.

Mr. Caudle was a cattle dealer for 72 years and attended Central Full Gospel Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest Caudle and Earlie Caudill; and sister, Anna Lee Childers.

Survivors include: wife, Pauline L. Caudle of the home; two sons, Roger Caudle and wife Cindy of Hays; Robert Caudle of State Road; one brother, Bobby Caudle of State Road; two grandchildren, Alissa Gardner and husband Daniel, and Drew Caudle and wife Becky; two great-grandchildren, Elliott Gardner and Finley Caudle.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Norman and Pastor Mitch Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
