Judy Pittman Wooten

Mrs. Judy Pittman Wooten, age 69, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Wooten was born September 23, 1947 in Surry County to Alec Lee and Swanee Golden Pittman.

Mrs. Wooten was a member of Mining Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband of 48 years Frank Wooten of the home; son, Alec Wooten and wife Sonya of Elkin; daughter, Karen Mitchell and husband Chris of East Bend; brother, Kenneth Pittman and wife Norman of Randalman; grandchildren, Casey Wilmoth and husband Lucas, Faith Wooten, Autumn Wooten and Danielle Campbell and fiancée Donny Holsclaw; step-grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Allison Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, great-grandchildren, Lily Wilmoth, Max Wilmoth and Scarlett Holsclaw.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at Mining Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Jenkins and Rev. Keith Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the church.
