Edward Charles Rice

Mr. Edward Charles Rice, age 75, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Rice was born October 11, 1941 in Britton, SD to Alfred and Emily Bachmeier Rice.

Mr. Rice was a retired Veteran of the US Airforce serving three tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. He attended St. Stephen Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include: his wife Joyce Ann Rice; sons, Keith Edward Rice and wife Jennifer, William Edward Rice and wife Anna and Brian Edward Rice; brother, Wilford Rice and wife Helen; sisters, Frances Poitra and Lucille Wiles and husband Jim; grandchildren, Connor William Rice, Reanna Rice, Rilei Rice, Jacob Noah Rice and Joshua Aaron Rice.

All services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the US Air Force in Sturgis, South Dakota.
