Timothy Grady Carter

Mr. Timothy Grady Carter, age 61, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Carter was born October 29, 1955 in Surry County to Foley and Flora Darnell Carter.

Tim was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a Territory Manager for Zoetis.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Stuart Carter.

Survivors include: his wife, Cheryll Shumate Carter of the home; son, Dillon Carter of Greenville, SC; daughter, Brandi Hollar and husband Michael of Advance and granddaughters, Emily Hollar and Elizabeth Hollar.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds, Rev. Joe Wood and Rev. Don Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
