Linda Key Ashley

Mrs. Linda Key Ashley, 64, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1952 in Bassett, Virginia to Troy and Etta Belle Pack Key.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy C. Key.

Survivors include: husband, Larry F. Phillips of the home; son, Jimmy W. Ashley and his partner Eddie Castellon of Raleigh; daughter, Linda Gayle Bryant and her husband Chad of Roaring River; brothers, Terry Key and his wife Kay of Clingman and Troy Key, Jr. of Elkin; sisters, Wanda Anderson and her husband Ricky of Jonesville and Jean Carol Jones and her husband Roger of Hays; grandchildren, Adam Ewer, Megan Ewer, Kaitlyn Ewer and Cody Ewer; and great grandchildren, Alexander Ewer and Lillian Ewer.

Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
