Robert "Butch" Quesenberry

Mr. Robert Ray “Butch” Quesenberry, age 70, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Quesenberry was born January 13, 1946 in Wytheville, VA to Raymond A. and Ollie Burcham Quesenberry.

Butch was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God in Jonesville where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer. Butch retired from CVS Pharmacy as a store manager.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Quesenberry.

Survivors include: a son, Mark, a brother, Bill Quesenberry and wife Becky, a sister Carolyn Caviness and husband Clyde, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Emanuel Brown and Rev. Robert Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Church of God cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.

The family would like to express their thanks to all the friends who have been there for Butch during his illness.
