Jerry Dale Park

Mr. Jerry Dale Park, age 75, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 as the result of a farming accident. Jerry was born December 2, 1941 in Surry County to Luther Gentry Park and Elerice Caudle Park.

Mr. Park was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and retired from BE Aerospace in Winston-Salem. Mr. Park was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Nellie Jo Lawrence Park of the home; son, Jeffrey Park and wife Michelle of Elkin; brother, Harold Park and wife Linda of Ronda; three sisters, Gabrielle Cass and husband Don of Winston-Salem; Lois Corder and husband Tom of Wilmington; Janice Guyer and husband John of Glen Allen, VA; two grandchildren, Christopher Park and wife Kendra and Ashlyn Park, one great-grandchild, Andrew Park.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Smith, Rev. Jason Lawson and Rev. Chris Park officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral service.
