George Raymond Stull

Mr. George Raymond Stull, age 93, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Chatham Nursing & Rehab Center. Mr. Stull was born July 3, 1923 in Houston, TX to Raymond and Julia Droff Stull.

George was a WWII Navy Veteran. He graduated from the University of Houston with a business degree in accounting. George worked at Reynolds Aluminum Inc. as an accountant, comptroller of York General Hospital and was the CEO of Spencers Business Machines Inc. He enjoyed golfing, boating, traveling and just taking a drive. George will be missed and fondly remembered for his strong will to succeed and his passion for life.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Young Stull and daughter, Cynthia Stull Johnson.

Survivors include: his son, George Raymond Stull, Jr. and wife Kathy of Rock Hill, SC; daughters, Janice Stull Reeve and husband Ed of Jacksonville, FL and Donna Stull Rocha of Elkin; grandchildren, Kathy Johnson, Stephen Johnson and wife Sabrina, Kristin Rike and husband Will, Chris Rocha and wife Morgan, Caulfield Rocha, Alex Stull and Whitney Stull; great-grandchildren, Dakota Cave, Cheyanna Johnson, Stephen Johnson III, Shane Johnson and Cason Rike.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Cobby Day officiating.
