Mr. Windle Yarboro, age 77, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Woltz Hospice. Mr. Yarboro was born January 2, 1939 in Wilkes County to Kapp and Gertha Rose Yarboro.

Windel was a retired accountant and attended Charity United Methodist church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Yarboro and Tommy Yarboro, and one sister Martha Yarboro.

Survivors include: two daughters; Lesia Howell and Husband Danny of King, and Cappi Shelton and husband Chris, of Dobson; two brothers, Felix Yarboro of Birmingham Ala., and Benny Yarboro of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Margaret Darnell, Emelene Miller, and Gemmie Key all of Elkin; two grandchildren, Cassie Adams and Ben Shelton.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at Charity United Methodist Church with Rev. Rex Cranfill, and Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
