Selma Bauguess Golden

Mrs. Selma Bauguess Golden, age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Chatham Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Golden was born June 14, 1929 in Wilkes County to John and Verna Ingool Bauguess.
Mrs. Golden was a member of Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Golden and brother, Fred Bauguess.
Survivors include: her sons, Edward H. Golden and wife Julie of Jonesville and Keith M. Golden and wife Carol of Elkin; brothers, Bobby Bauguess of Florida, Junior Bauguess and wife Gaynell of Elkin and Zeno Bauguess and wife Judy of Ronda; sisters, Pat Dudley and husband Ray of Clemmons and Doris Duncan of Elkin; sister-in-law, Jackie Bauguess of Boonville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Frank Wooten officiating.The family requests that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 688 North Bridge Street, Elkin, NC 28621.
