Kristi Renee Hemrick

Kristi Renee Hemrick, age 46, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. She was born November 6, 1969 in Surry County to C.W. Hemrick and Christine Hemric Bumgarner. Kristie was employed with Phillips Van Heusen and attended Faith Highway Ministries in Hamptonville.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Marie and Mahew Hemric.

Survivors include: her mother, Christine H. Bumgarner of Elkin; daughters, Kirsten Hemrick of Yadkinville, Katie Oliver of Dobson and Gina Flippin and husband Grayson of Low Gap; son, Keilan Hemrick of Winston-Salem; brothers, Joey Taylor and wife Lisa of Arizona and Mark Taylor of Colorado; step brother Roger Combs of Tennesee; half-sister, DeAnn Jazz Ballew of California and step-sister, Misty Combs of Mountain Park; grandchildren, Alexis Williams, Khloey Triplett, Rylan Triplett, Taliyah Triplett, Elliott Flippin and Torrin Flippin.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Ricky Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
