Mr. Glen Sanford Roberts, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. Mr. Roberts was born December 11, 1934 in Yadkin County to Samuel Monroe and Isadora Ireland Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and a school teacher for Surry County.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Lester Roberts; sisters, Edith Brown, Pansy Nichols, Lucy Beard and Margaret Lewis.

Survivors include: several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Center Methodist Church in Yadkinville.
