Alton Pardue

Mr. Roy Alton Pardue, age 72, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Pardue was born May 15, 1943 in Wilkes County to George and Etta Pardue.

Mr. Pardue was a loving husband and a classic car enthusiast. He was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Pardue and sister, Janet P. Billings.

Survivors include: his wife, Sylvia L. Pardue of the home; nephews, Michael Billings and wife Chrissy and Keith Billings and wife Wendy; nieces Amber Hall and husband Josh and Tara Lackey and husband Miles; four great-nieces and four great-nephews and Pomeranian’s, J.J. and Toby.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Gwyn Anderson and Rev. Elmer Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
