Jeanne Harring formerly of Saugus, Massachusetts went ‘home’ to be with our Lord, on
August 27, 2016 after a lifelong illness. She leaves behind two sisters, Ann Murzin of
Ronda, NC, Nance I. Am of Concord, N.H., two brothers, Paul Harring of Beverly, Mass and Michael Harring of Saugus, Mass., several nieces and nephews, a great niece and great nephew, whom she adored. She was predeceased by her parents Jackson and Virginia Harring of Central Street, Saugus, Mass. where Jeanne resided for over 50 years. Jeanne was a 1967 graduate of Saugus High School. She worked at the Stop and Shop grocery chain for many years and nearly 17 years with Project Triangle for the disabled, in the Malden, Massachusetts area. Jeanne moved to NC to live with her sister Ann shortly after Ann’s retirement. She had a love for her cats and loved working with her hands creating many beautiful keepsakes. Jeanne loved a good card game of Gin Rummy with whoever dared to challenge her, she was also an avid Bingo player.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service is planned and she will be laid to rest for eternal life at the Ronda Town Cemetery, Ronda, North Carolina. Arrangements are being handled by Elkin Funeral Services, Elkin, NC.
