Rc Wilmoth

Mr. RC Wilmoth, age 71, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born June 22, 1945 to Hobart and Nora Sparks Wilmoth.  Mr. Wilmoth was retired from LP and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Mr. Wilmoth was an avid fisherman and gardener; enjoyed working in his garage and learning to play the guitar and especially enjoyed riding his golf cart with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sonny Wilmoth, Fred Wilmoth and Homer Wilmoth and sisters, Verlie Bates and Zell Bates.

Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Linda W. Wilmoth of the home, son, Ronnie Wilmoth and his wife Gina of Elkin, sister, Polly Caudle and her husband Jack of Thurmond; sister-in-law, Diane Myers and her husband Danny of Lexington; grandchildren, Amber Wilmoth and finace (MJ Bryant) and Bailey Wilmoth; great grandchild, Brayden Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
