Robert Reece Jolley

Mr. Robert Reece Jolley, age 90, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Mr. Jolley was born October 24, 1925 in Wilkes County to Reece and Estelle Rose Jolley.
Mr. Jolley retired from Chatham Manufacturing after 43 years of service. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and a former deacon. Mr. Jolley also served in the Elkin Lions Club and was a former Lion of The Year.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Osee Jolley and Benny Jolley and sister, Rosemble Gentry.
Survivors include: his wife of 72 years Havalyn Hayes Jolley of the home; daughter, Toni Weatherman and husband Harold of State Road; sister, Georgia Transou and husband Frank of Elkin; grandchildren, Hal Weatherman and wife Michelle of Raleigh and Gina Nolan husband Joe of Pensacola, Florida; great-grandchildren, Hayes, Skyler and Kit Weatherman; several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chad Whitley officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
