Mrs. Eloise Love Dimmette, age 79, of Ronda passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born April 12, 1937 in Wilkes County to Rosevelt and Grace Call Love. Mrs. Dimmette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid sewer and gardener known for her custom drapery and raising and selling flowers of all varieties. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Derrick F. Dimmette. Survivors include: her husband of 61 years, Fred C. Dimmette of the home, sons, Dennis C. Dimmette and Maverick G. Dimmette and his wife Nancy; sisters, Mary Lucy Davis and Ethel Sparks; sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Cockerham and her husband Joe, Jettie Love and Geraldine Love; grandchildren, Lindsey Dimmette and his wife Amanda, Danielle Dimmette Baity and her husband Michael, Samantha Dimmette and Makayla Dimmette; great-granddaughter, Ellie Claire Dimmette; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Danny Dodds, Preacher Mickey Brooks and Rev. Joe Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
