Jon Wayne Stryker

Mr. Jon Wayne Stryker, age 67, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Stryker was born in Schenectady County, New York to Barent and Constance Dearborn Stryker.
Mr. Stryker was employed with Henry Key Grading and was an accomplished CDL driver and a master mechanic. In his younger years Mr. Stryker was an avid 4H club member where he won many awards and was a licensed airplane pilot.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jan S. Elliott.
Survivors include: his son Nicholas Stryker of Vermont and daughter, Amanda Taylor and husband Daniel of Hawaii; brothers, Charles Fogg, Jr. and Barent W. Stryker III; granddaughters, Brooke Taylor, Raelyn Taylor and Natalie Taylor.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at 679 Martin Byrd Road, Elkin, NC 28621.
