William "Sid" Brendle

Mr. William Sidney “Sid” Brendle, age 61, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was born August 11, 1954 in Surry County to Sidney Floyd and Kathryn Cranford Brendle.
Sid was an avid outdoorsman, animal lover, family man and was known for his artistic and culinary abilities.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Floyd Brendle.
Survivors include: his wife, Gina W. Brendle of Elkin; mother, Kitty C. Brendle of Elkin; son, William Alexander Brendle of Elkin; daughter, Sydney Kathyrn Brendle of Elkin; brother, Steven Floyd Brendle and wife Betsy of State Road; nephews, James Steven Brendle and wife Rachel of Wilmington and Jason Nicholas Brendle of Wilmington.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Bill Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
