Peggy Coe Wishon

Mrs. Peggy Ann Coe Wishon, age 77, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. Mrs. Wishon was born May 29, 1938 in Surry County to Thomas Wilson and Maude Coe.
Mrs. Wishon was a member of Calvary Wesleyn Church and retired from Hanes Hosiery.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles B. Clendenen II; four brothers and three sisters.
Surviors include: her husband, Robert C. Wishon of the home; sons, Charles B. Clendenen III of Los Angeles, CA, Jeffrey T. Clendenen and wife Denise of Jonesville and Michael E. Clendenen and wife Kim of Traphill; daughters, Karen R. Southard and husband Wayne of Elkin and Cathy D. Parker and husband Jeff of Elkin; brothers, Eddie Coe and wife Betty Ann of Jonesville and Raymond Coe and wife Helen of Dobson; sister, Maudie Stanley of Fairview; sisters-in-law, Louise Martin and husband Paul of Hamptonville and Lucille Holbrook of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Chuck Clendenen IV, Jeremy Clendenen, Rebecca Southard, Kayla Parker, Tisha Parker, Maegan Clendenen, Jessica Williams, Drew Clendenen and Heather Clendenen; great-grandchildren, Timothy Clendenen, Jarod Clendenen, Alexandria Clendenen, Garrett Clendenen, Lyllith Mikles, Alliyah Parker, Ayden Parker, Abby Parker, Garrett Duncan, Holden Clendenen, Emma Williams, Cory Williams and Ashton Ester.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Rockford Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Coe and Rev. Jesse Garmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
